Different type of transmitter

Our different transmitters cover most of the needs of localisation. Guidance, determination of drilling point or repositioning underground network topography with DV transmitters or subaquatic with DVE transmitters and process post-siphons with DVS transmitters. Study of de drilling deviations and re-localisation of the cave / drilling with DVF transmitters.

A reliable system with a long track record

This equipment had been developed by the specialist Daniel Valade. He has tested it many time with many different situations, in particular in caves.

References

  • March 2003. Location and drilling on the highway building site (Highway A20, France).
The drilling led to the cave.


  • January 2003. Location and drilling at Aven des côtes (St Etienne de Fontbellon 07, France).
  • September 2005. Location of the underground river network of the Vitarelles (Gramat 46, France). Location and drilling complete with an accuracy of 30 cm at 124 m deep.
  • Cave of Labeil (France) : Drilling to pass wires into at 26 m deep and guidance between two rooms to drill the horizontal tunnel.
  • Maximum depth at -250 meters in the underground network of Gournier (Vercors, France).
  • November 2006 - Network of Thouries (82) : location at - 236 m, at 750 m in the siphon n°2. The transmitter was 50 m deep in the water.
  • October 2008 - city of Touvre (16), spring of Lussac : subaquatic location at -130m.
  • November 2008 - city of Marcilhac, Célé, spring of Ressel : location of 8 points to 1200 m from the entry of the subaquatic cave.

The process of improvement of the transmitters along all these studies gives us now a real technical reliability.

Technical performances

  • Location down to a 250 meters depth : 800 meters diameter surface area reception
  • Autonomy : 4 hours
  • Accuracy of depth measurement : + / - 2 meters
  • Weight and dimension : 3 kg, can be contained in a 15 liters watertight can.
  • Accuracy of the location : less than 1 meter
  • More accurate and less expensive than topography.
